The Vibe
Silvana’s is a neighborhood beauty salon that transforms into a spa escape as you climb the wide staircase to the spa and experience the refreshing scents. Once you pass through the elegant glass door to the spa, you’ll notice the classic Roman décor with paintings from the Sistine Chapel, decorative angels and golden tassels hanging from the wall sconces.

| Silvana’s layout makes it a great place for a spa party since the more social manicure and pedicure stations are located just outside of the quiet spa area. |

The Little Things
There are several “little things” that enhance the services at Silvana’s. The massage rooms have heated treatment beds and overhead heat lamps…Silvana’s uses a steamer to infuse aromatic herbs into the linen sheets during their Herbal Detox Wrap. While wrapped, the therapists perform a therapeutic facial massage that helped us to relax into a peaceful sleep…The pedicure chairs are roomy, offer a massaging back, and a large cup holder…We loved the custom facials provided in beds that contoured to our bodies…At Silvana’s, they give you what your skin needs whether it’s a Vitamin C masque or enzyme peel, and it’s all included in the price of the facial...The receptionists were genuinely friendly, checked us in easily and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of.

The Star Treatment
The Vichy “Rain Massage” Therapy followed by Silvana’s Spa Body Massage. While lying on a cushioned table, the Vichy Therapy uses six showerheads to massage your body from head to toe. The feeling of the warm, refreshing water massage is truly indescribable; you just have to experience it to understand it! The therapist even rotated the showerheads halfway through the service to invigorate the body. |

We like the Vichy Therapy as a great end to the Thalasso (Seaweed) Therapy Wrap, but it is also offered as a treatment on its own. We experienced the Silvana’s Spa Body Massage immediately after the Vichy Therapy and it was the perfect way to continue the heavenly experience. We’ve had massages at Silvana’s on several occasions and they have consistently been top quality. |

The Distinctive Element
Besides the Vichy Shower??? The large facilities, updated technology and wide variety of services are similar to what we’ve become accustomed to at larger resort spas. Silvana's is unique in offering separate men’s and women’s changing facilities with lockers and robes, steam showers and dressing areas. The only thing missing is a relaxation room with comfortable seating and some snacks to nibble on if you get hungry. There is a waiting area at the spa entrance next to the manicures. |

What to Keep in Mind
If you want to use the complimentary steam shower in the locker room, you’ll need to ask about it ahead of time so that Silvana’s can prepare it for you…The windows in the Vichy Shower room make it very bright, so if this bothers you, ask them to close the blinds…The location on the main street in Bristol has its share of noisy distractions...Be prepared to "bare" it all from the waist down during a Brazilian wax, you can’t be modest if you want the thorough wax that Silvana's gives!
