The Vibe
Lavender Fields is a small, cozy day spa with a modern touch. It’s conveniently located off exit 28 on I-84 in the Milldale section of Southington. Lavender Fields is the perfect place to bring a few friends since you will have the spa all to yourselves and the staff will totally cater to you. You will find hints of lavender throughout the spa. Dried lavender flowers accent each room and the perfect painting of actual lavender fields hangs over the fireplace. You can sip on lavender flavored tea, and enjoy the scent of lavender hand lotion after your services.
The Little Things
The service and pampering at Lavender fields is exceptional. The staff pays attention to every detail, whether it’s frequently making sure their refreshments are fully stocked to removing every last hair during the waxing services...They give you the option of organic brown sugar (no chemicals!) for their signature Body Glow along with 19 different aromatherapy scent choices...During the Stone Massage, you’ll be warmed and relaxed by the strategic placement of the hot stones between each of your toes, in your hands and along your face…To ensure you leave your spa experience in the ultimate state of relaxation, opt for a half hour Reiki session to bring your body energies into balance.

The Star Treatment
The Facial…varieties range from cleansing, seaweed, hydra, alpha and more. You’ll fall in love from the moment you climb into the facial bed. The heated cushioning and light down comforter are so comfortable that you’ll never want to get up! We adore the aesthetician Tracy; she has a wonderful “bedside manner” that will instantly make you trust your face in her hands. The relaxing and refreshing scent of the Yonka products used throughout the service literally brought smiles to our faces. But the best part had to be the “glow” our faces had when it was all over. You’ll definitely “Get Your Glow On” at Lavender Fields.

The Distinctive Element
The Solarium…this tranquil environment is unlike any other relaxation room we’ve experienced in CT. Although it’s smaller in size, it is a nice, cozy space enclosed by glass windows overlooking the forest and decorated with luscious plants and earthy colors. There are four comfortable chairs and as soon as you sit down, the staff will cover you with a blanket and bring your choice of tea or water with lemon. |
They have a delectable variety of snacks including fruits, cookies and scrumptious peanut butter and chocolate bon-bons. All of this combined with calming spa music, ambiance candles, and a variety of wellness books and magazines makes the solarium the perfect place to relax.
What to Keep in Mind
Leave yourself extra time when planning a visit to Lavender Fields so that you can unwind before and after your services in the Solarium (you can even bring a book if you want!) Also, don’t be afraid to ask for a robe and slippers to be more comfortable hanging out in the Solarium. And if you’re extra hungry while relaxing, they do serve a healthy spa lunch upon request…For $55 you can get a spa manicure and pedicure and spend about two hours in the spa. These services are located in the same room as the Solarium, so they are not completely private…If you choose to “Get Your Glow On” with a Body Glow, be aware that the warm towels used to remove the scrub turn cool fast. If you get chilly during your services, you can ask them to turn up the heat in the room. Also, be sure to have some time to spare as the treatment tends to run over.
