The LetsGoSpa Philosophy:  Work Hard, Play Hard, Relax Hard…

Jennifer Healy and Heather Majewski are the founders of Lets Go Spa, LLC.  We started our careers working hard in the stressful corporate world.  Although we were very driven in our careers, we were never believers of “all work, no play”.  We have found that a healthy body helps to achieve a healthy mind.  We enjoy fitness activities like rock wall climbing, belly dancing, cardio kickboxing, volleyball, and weightlifting.  But there was still something missing for us.

We then discovered what we are dubbing the third leg of the phrase “Work Hard, Play Hard” and that’s to “Relax Hard”.  Once we realized the benefits of going to spas and the various spa treatments, we became addicted.  Since then, we’ve been rubbed, scrubbed, waxed and wrapped at top spas worldwide including The Mandarin Oriental in Miami, NYC and London, the Canyon Ranch in Las Vegas , Mandara Spa at Atlantis in the Bahamas , and the Ritz-Carlton in New Orleans and San Juan

Along the way, we also discovered that you don’t have to travel far to experience the most cutting edge spa treatments and to achieve total relaxation; you can find it right here in Connecticut .  That’s where LetsGoSpa.com comes to life…


We saw a need for a website with a complete directory of spas, so we created one for our home state of Connecticut with plans to expand.  Our Directory of over 150 Connecticut spas is the most comprehensive list you’ll find anywhere on the internet.  But what good is a complete spa directory without reviews of the spas?

We want to give fellow spa-goers the inside scoop on spas, so we write unbiased reviews.  We tell everything you need to know to achieve the best spa experience.  We give virtual tours of the spas, the low down on their treatments, their ability to pamper, and the best deals.  We make it even easier to choose a spa by awarding the best spas our distinctive “LetsGoSpa Favorite” recognition.  We also give our viewers the opportunity to share their thoughts by writing in guest reviews.

We help to improve the spa experience by giving feedback to spa owners.  When we review the spas, we tell them both the good and the bad.  We offer suggestions on how they can enhance their spas based on our wide variety of experiences.  The spa industry is booming all over the country and we want to make sure that the spas we work with are keeping up with the best!

We want to make the spa experience more affordable, so we negotiate offers with many spas exclusively for LetsGoSpa viewers. The offers range from discounted to free services and give you that extra incentive to pamper yourself more often.  To make things a little more fun, we offer spa contests for free services.

We want to keep spa enthusiasts “in the know”, so we created the Buzz.  In this weekly article, we talk about everything from Brazilian waxing and infant massages to wedding day spas and spa bachelorette parties.  We also give advice on how to make the most of the overall spa experience.  And finally, we talk about the details…the cleanliness, the nakedness, and the difference a friendly receptionist can make.

We want to meet our fellow spa enthusiasts, so we host spa parties!  We held a private LetsGoSpa Open House at a local day spa so we could meet, mingle, and, well, spa together.  Our LetsGoSpa.com viewers made the event a roaring success by selling out every service that the spa could offer!  Everyone had such a great time that we’re planning on having these events more often!

Through LetsGoSpa.com we’ve been able to share our spa experiences with fellow spa enthusiasts and help spa owners make their spas the best they can be.  We look forward to doing more of the same and we hope you find LetsGoSpa.com helpful whether you are a spa enthusiast or spa owner.
