The Scene
Located in a quaint shopping area on Philly’s Main Line, 3000BC is the ultimate in sleek and modern relaxation. First and last impressions are key in this Egyptian inspired spa, as your check in and out through the spectacular spa boutique. The boutique offers every spa accessory you can think of from relaxing spa music to lavender sachet key chains (to prevent road rage!). The ultra modern relaxation area defines modern minimalism, with its wood chairs, few candles, sleek décor and selection of teas. The treatment rooms are comfortable and carry the modern theme throughout.
The Little Things
3000BC makes itself unique by providing many small touches during traditional treatments that make you feel special. The treatments are all about heat and relaxation. Heated neck and leg pillows are used during the massage and your feet and back are first warmed and massaged through steamed towels…During the facial, you are given hot stones in each hand and one large stone is placed on your chest. |
 |
The staff is ultra friendly ensuring your comfort not only while in the treatment rooms, but also while in the relaxation room...The large selection of 8 varieties of teas makes for a warm and cozy time in the relaxation room.
The Star Treatment
The facial is undoubtedly the best treatment. The warm stones, the thick blankets, the cozy recliner-like table that seems to conform to your body, and an esthetician who knows more about your skin that you could ever imagine.

The Distinctive Element
The boutique…it’s just an amazing room with great décor and great products. As you leave your last service you are given a card that lists everything that you experienced that day, from the products used on your skin to the music that you were listening to. All of it is available for purchase through the spa boutique! |
What to Keep in Mind
The spa is in split between separate buildings. We were in three different buildings for the boutique, relaxation area/facial rooms, and massages/manicures/pedicures. During extreme hot or cold weather these walks outside could be uncomfortable….The facial extractions were the most painful I’ve ever experienced, but also the most thorough… |
