The Scene
Nestled among some of the most beautiful resort grounds you’ll ever see, the Mandara Spa at Atlantis is the perfect place to unwind after an event filled day in Paradise! You can smell the relaxing spa scents from the moment the doors open. Your eyes are drawn to a spectacular wall of glass with water and pressed flowers behind it. The crisp white tile floors and dark bamboo accents instantly make you feel at ease. The spa has separate men’s and women’s locker rooms and relaxation rooms. There are 24 treatment rooms and a coed steam room, sauna, and tropical rain showers. Just outside is a garden terrace with a large Thalassotherapy pool filled with salt water and whirlpool jets. Massages alongside the bubbling pool are available.

The Little Things
The amenities are vast. From the steam room, sauna, tropical showers, and Thalassotherapy pool, to the fresh fruit, citrus flavored water, and everything you need to pamper yourself in the locker areas, the amenities make your trip to the spa worthwhile.
The Star Treatment
The staff is so friendly that every treatment worth trying. I enjoyed my relaxing massages and the sweet indulgence of the spa’s Exotic Coconut Rub and Milk Ritual Body Wrap, while my husband really enjoyed his invigorating Caribbean Coffee Scrub.
The Distinctive Element
The Thalassotherapy Pool. I’ve never seen a pool like this at a spa. Imagine yourself floating on salt-water clouds in a giant whirlpool, while listening to the sounds of the bubbling water and the ocean waves crashing on the nearby beach. One trip to this secluded pool and you’ll know you’ve found your secret paradise!

| What to Keep in Mind Atlantis is a very large resort so there are always a lot of people around. While the vast amount of people is hard to notice around the resort, it’s more easily apparent at the spa and salon. People are constantly coming in and out and the spa tends to be loud. Both times I’ve visited, the women’s relaxation area was loud; this latest time there was even a Plasma TV playing in the room. The busy spa can make you feel more rushed than relaxed. |
